Paratan B4/D4

PARATAN RAPID is a one component, waterproof (B4) and
thixotropic polyurethane adhesive with gap filling properties.

The vulcanization is achieved by reaction to the moisture in the substrates.

Dry porous materials usually contain sufficient moisture to obtain the vulcanization.

PARATAN complies with the D4 standard of EN204/205

APPLICATIONS

PARATAN is suitable for bonding dry and moist wood, rubber, concrete and all porous materials. Uses include Boat Building, Furniture Manufacturing and general wood jointing.

SURFACES

1. Materials to be bonded must be clean and free from grease.
2. Non porous materials must be slightly roughened.
3. Components must be bonded within 5 minutes.
4. Clamping will ensure final bond strength.

NOTE. Components may be moved after 15-20 minutes.

CONSUMPTION

250 to 450 g/m2 depending on porosity.
